You will no doubt be aware that schools are planning to begin a partial re-opening in line with Government recommendations. Like all schools, we are trying to balance the need of children to return to education with the need to ensure the health and well-being of the staff, your children and your families.
Whilst the government has suggested June 1st as a possible date to re-open to some year groups, this will only happen IF the government has the scientific evidence to support its decision.
Even if this is the case nationally, nothing will change at Three Towers we will not be re-opening then, even to specific year groups. In line with guidance from our Trust and Wigan Council, we have no plans to start to re-open until June 8th at the earliest, and even then only if the safety of all our community is not at risk. You can read these letters on our coronavirus page.
To summarise, nothing has changed and further official updates will be posted on the website as they happen.
Welcome to Three Towers Alternative Provision Academy or TTAPA. Learners receive support with their education from us for a variety of reasons; we are here to help every learner achieve their full potential, working with you to ensure that your child achieves as well as they can. We hope you find the website useful and informative but please do not hesitate to contact us if you do not find the information you are looking for.
