Remote Learning

As an alternative provision academy, Three Towers is open as usual in line with current DfE guidance and learners should be accessing their usual provision as normal.

This is very different to the first lockdown in March, when schools stayed open to provide childcare for vulnerable children and those of critical keyworkers who had no other childcare options available.  This time education and learning is expected to continue in as close a way as possible to what happens when all schools are fully open.

Remote Learning For Those Self-Isolating

For those learners who are self-isolating a different offer is available personalised to your needs.

If your child has to self-isolate we will have work packs ready to send home. Please inform your child’s Pastoral Manager and they will be able to provide a computer or paper-based pack to enable your child to continue to learn. The paper-based pack can be collected from school or posted home.

Elected Remote Learning

Remote learning is available for those learners who normally attend their lessons in school (onsite).

We recognise that some families may have particular concerns which mean that instead of attending their normal onsite lessons, parents/carers have chosen to keep learners at home and away from school during the current COVID restrictions.  Mainstream schools are expected to authorise formal requests for leave of absence in these circumstances.

At Three Towers we are offering remote learning to keep our learners actively engaged in school and to prevent gaps in their knowledge and skills developing. This is elected remote learning.

Parents/carers can change their minds by giving school one weeks notice which allows us to make staffing changes to be made to meet our safe staffing level requirements.  This should be done via email to covidqueries@ttapa.net
